I really enjoyed hearing everyone's thoughts on my zine. When I started this zine, I was mostly focused on playing around with the different features on Photoshop & Illustrator and incorporating visuals I like or think are funny, rather than thinking about the symbolism and message(s) being portrayed by my art. Subconsciously though, there is a lot of symbolism happening in these images. There are many pop culture references, ironic pairings of visuals, and emotions being shown throughout my zine. I took a lot of inspiration from movies and characters I find interesting and made them into a chaotic, colorful 'dreamscape'. I strayed away from my starting theme, but I think human interaction will always be a part of many of my artworks, even though there is human interaction in this - there are a lot of other distracting and differing meanings and visuals being portrayed. In the future, I could definitely do more planning ahead of time for the flow of my artworks and symbolism I want to include, but for the most part I am proud of my work and had fun making it and hearing what others got from it.
